How The Treatment Works

The SDA Process

Comprehensive Assessment & 3D Planning

(30-60 minutes)

We begin with a detailed clinical examination supported by digital scans and 3D imaging to evaluate bone density, gum health, and suitability for implant placement. Using advanced planning software, we map the exact position of the implant for optimal stability, aesthetics, and long-term success. Alongside the Straumann® Implant System, we use Cone Beam CT (CBCT) 3D imaging to plan implant placement with exceptional accuracy and safety.

Precision Implant Placement

(60-90 minutes)

The implant is carefully placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia using minimally invasive surgical techniques. We use the Straumann Implant System (Switzerland), known for its exceptional precision engineering and proven biological integration. Most patients report minimal discomfort and are able to return to normal activities shortly after treatment.

Healing & Osseointegration

(8-12 weeks+)

Over the following weeks, the implant naturally fuses with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This creates a strong, stable foundation similar to a natural tooth root. During this time, a temporary restoration may be provided where appropriate.

Final Crown Placement

(30-60 minutes)

Once healing is complete, a custom-made crown is securely attached to the implant. Crafted to match your natural teeth in color, shape, and translucency, the final result is a fully functional, natural-looking replacement tooth designed for long-term durability.

Many of our surgical treatments can be performed under moderate conscious sedation to maximize comfort and reduce treatment anxiety. Sedation is administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist, allowing patients to feel relaxed throughout more complex procedures.
