My journey began in 2000, when I moved to Toronto ready to build a new life. I earned my Certified Dental Assistant credential in 2004 from CDI College, formerly the Toronto School of Business — and from that day forward, I poured myself into the craft of caring for others. I spent years working alongside specialists in Toronto, focusing on implant dentistry and root canal therapy, where I learned that precision and compassion go hand in hand. I love a challenge and the chance to learn something new, and those experiences taught me that the smallest gestures often matter most: a reassuring word to a nervous patient, a detail handled before anyone has to ask, a smile that says you’re in good hands here. That’s the heart of what I do, and it’s what makes the work feel less like a job and more like a privilege.

But my greatest source of pride lives outside the office. I’m the mom of two wonderful sons — one in university, one in college — and watching them grow into the young men they’re becoming is the achievement I hold dearest. They remind me every day why we work hard, dream big, and lead with love.

And when life calls for a moment of stillness, I find it by the water. Whether I’m snorkeling beneath the surface or paddleboarding across a calm morning sea, the ocean reminds me to breathe, to be present, and to carry that same sense of peace back to the people I serve.
