How The Treatment Works

The SDA Process

Examination & Digital Diagnosis

(20-30 minutes)

We begin with a thorough clinical examination using digital X-rays supported by Pearl AI diagnostic technology to assess the extent of the infection and the condition of the tooth roots. This allows us to accurately diagnose the problem and determine whether root canal treatment is the best option for preserving the tooth.

Comfort Preparation & Infection Removal

(30-45 minutes)

After the area is fully numbed with local anesthesia, a small access point is created in the tooth. Specialized instruments are then used to carefully remove the infected or damaged pulp tissue while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

Cleaning, Shaping & Sealing the Root Canals

(30-45 minutes)

The root canals are meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and shaped using precision endodontic techniques. Once the canals are free from bacteria, they are sealed with biocompatible filling material to help prevent reinfection and support the long-term success of the treatment.

Final Restoration & Long-Term Protection

Following root canal treatment, the tooth is restored to full function. Depending on the amount of remaining tooth structure, this may involve a filling or a custom dental crown to reinforce the tooth and protect it from future damage.

For particularly nervous patients, many treatments can be performed under moderate conscious sedation to maximize comfort and reduce treatment anxiety. Sedation is administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist, allowing patients to feel relaxed throughout more complex procedures.
